Asian Sloppy Joes

Ingredients

4 spring onions

3 cloves of garlic

600 grams of minced beef

1/2 head of iceberg lettuce

1 tbsp lime juice

4 rolls

4 sprigs of coriander

2 tbsp coconut sugar

Preparation method for Asian Sloppy Joes

  1. Cut the spring onion into thin rings and finely chop the garlic
  2. Sauté the spring onions in a large skillet with sesame oil over medium-high heat for a few minutes. Then add the garlic and fry for a few minutes.
  3. Now add the minced meat and sauté over high heat for about 5 minutes. Then mix in the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar and sugar and fry until nicely browned and thickened.
  4. vMeanwhile, chop the lettuce very finely and toss in a bowl with the sriracha mayonnaise and lime juice.
  5. If necessary, bake the buns in the oven and cut in half. Top with the lettuce and spread the minced meat mixture on top. Garnish with sesame seeds and coriander leaves.
