Ingredients

1 kg chicken thighs

120 ml water

3 cloves of garlic

Pin of salt

2 tbsp oil

2 medium tomatoes

1 spring onion in rings

Preparation method for Beef Kare Kare

  1. Dice the beef and cook in water for 1-2 hours until tender. Add water in between as needed to cook the meat. Then broth remains, set aside.
  2. Put oil in a large pan and fry the garlic and onion in it. Add the cooked beef and the Kare-Kare mix. Then add the remaining broth, stir well and simmer for 2 minutes.
  3. Now add the eggplant and string beans. Let this simmer for 3 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent the sauce from sticking to the pan.
  4. Add the pak choi and simmer for another 2 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
