Of course, we all know edamame as the beans you often order with sushi. The fresh, green beans with some salt sprinkled over them, which you plop out one by one. But did you know that Edamame is also delicious as a crispy snack? That requires a little more work than just sprinkling salt, but then you have a delicious snack to go with your Asian drinks. And really, it's not that much work.

1 teaspoon olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
Optional: garlic or other spices
Preparation method for Crispy Spicy Edamame
- Peel the edamame and place the individual edamame beans in a baking dish.
- Add a tablespoon of crispy chili oil and a teaspoon of olive oil.
- Grate the Parmesan cheese over the beans
- Add salt and pepper to taste
- Optionally add garlic or other herbs and spices to taste.
- Mix if well and make sure all the beans have a layer of all the ingredients.
- Place the baking dish in a preheated over at 200 degrees.
- Depending on the oven, the beans go in the oven for 25 - 35 minutes.
- Toss the beans occasionally.
- Remove the beans from the oven and let them cool slightly - this will also make them crispier.Ready to serve!
