Cardamom
Cardamom is a spice extracted from the seeds of the cardamom plant. The plant grows mainly in countries such as India and Nepal. Cardamom seeds are small, dark brown or green and have a unique, sweet and spicy flavour with hints of lemon, mint and eucalyptus. Cardamom is often used in curries and marinades, as well as in baked goods such as bread or pastries or even ice cream! Cardamom is also added to spice blends such as garam masala and ras el hanout.
