Grilled sesame chicken

Ingredients

2 teaspoons freshly grated ginger

2 tablespoons honey

3 - 4 skinless and boneless chicken breasts

Vegetable cooking spray or vegetable oil for the grill

Chopped chives for garnish

Preparation method for Grilled sesame chicken

  1. Toast the sesame seeds, stirring frequently, in a small non-stick skillet over medium heat until light brown.
  2. Combine the sesame seeds, ginger, honey and soy sauce in a small bowl. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Marinate the chicken in the sauce for at least an hour.
  4. Preheat a pan or grill over medium-high heat and fry the chicken breasts for about 8 minutes on each side or until clear juices are visible.
  5. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with some more sesame seeds and chopped chives if desired.
