Japanese sesame sauce

Ingredients

0.5 tsp (cane) Sugar

Preparation method for Japanese sesame sauce

  1. Toast the sesame seeds in a dry skillet over medium-high heat. Shake occasionally to avoid burning. Turn off heat when all of the sesame seeds are light brown in color stop cooking. Then let the sesame seeds cool. Then grind the sesame seeds into a paste in a mortar.
  2. Then put the sesame paste (about 2 tablespoons) in a bowl. Mix in the remaining ingredients. Finally add the Japanese mayonnaise. Depending on the desired thickness, you can mix in 2 to 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise.
