Ingredients

1 spring onion

1/2 teaspoon cornstarch

Preparation method for Sticky Shiitake

  • Soak the dried shiitake mushrooms in warm water for about half an hour. Meanwhile, prepare the marinade with soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, sesame oil, and sriracha and set it aside.
  • Cook the noodles until they are done according to the instructions on the packaging.
  • Pat dry the soaked shiitake mushrooms and sauté them in a frying pan. Then add the marinade and sauté briefly. Add half a teaspoon of cornstarch to make the sauce slightly thicker and stickier.
  • Serve the noodles on a plate and spoon the sticky shiitake over them.
  • Slice a spring onion into pieces a few centimeters long and cut the ends into rings.
  • Garnish with the sliced spring onion and sesame seeds.
