Korean Stir Fry with octopus

Ingredients

1 medium cauliflower

1 piece of red bell bell pepper

1 piece of green bell bell pepper

250g mushrooms

500g octopus tentacles

4 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger

Preparation method for Korean Stir Fry with octopus

  1. For the stir-fry sauce, mix the gochujang, lemon juice, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil and sugar well in a clean bowl and set aside.
  2. Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add two tablespoons of oil. Fry the octopus tentacles in the pan for about 12-15 minutes until tender. Use a fork to check for tenderness. When they are cooked, set them aside.
  3. Heat a wok or larger pan and add 2 tablespoons of oil. Stir-fry the vegetables for 2-3 minutes. Add the stir-fry sauce and fry for another 3 minutes.
  4. Serve the stir-fried vegetables and add the grilled octopus tentacles.
  5. Serve as is or with steamed rice.
