Madras Curry

Ingredients

1 Onion sliced in half rings

2 Potatoes: diced

3 Tomatoes sliced

250 g Steak sliced in strips

150 g White cabbage: sliced

Preparation method for Madras Curry

  1. Bring a large pan of water to the boil and cook the rice for about 12 minutes. Then drain the rice and leave on the side covered.
  2. Heat the oil in a wok and fry the steak strips shortly. Switch the pan off and move to the side.
  3. Stir-fry the potato dices, tomato and cabbage for about 2 minutes in the remaining cooking fluid. Then add the lentils.
  4. Add the Madras Curry paste to the vegetables and lower the heat. Leave the vegetables to cook for about 5 minutes.
  5. Add the beef strips and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve the curry with Basmati rice.
