Nasi Goreng Rice dish with diced chicken and prawns

Preparation method Nasi Goreng

  • 1. Cook the rice in boiling water with a little salt for about 12 minutes. Drain the rice and allow to cool.
  • 2. Heat the oil in a wok and fry the onion and garlic on a low temperature.
  • 3. Add the chicken dices and cook till golden brown.
  • 4. Add the spice paste and stir-fry for about 1 minute.
  • 5. Now the vegetables can be added and stir-fry for 3 minutes.
  • 6. Add the cooled rice and also the prawns and spring onion. Stir-fry for another few minutes and season to taste with salt and pepper.

Serveertip: Prawn crackers are a great addition to this dish.
