steak strips with oyster sauce

Ingredients

250 g Sirloin steak, cut into strips

1 tsp Cornstarch

1 Onion, chopped

¾ cup Water

1 tsp Sugar

3 cups pods

Preparation method for steak strips with oyster sauce

  1. Season the steak with salt and pepper and 'bread' it with cornflour.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan and sear the steak until the edges are nicely browned. Remove the steak strips and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté the garlic, ginger and onion. Add the steak strips and the water.
  4. Then add the oyster sauce, sugar and snow peas over high heat.
  5. Thicken the sauce with cornstarch and add the sesame oil before removing the pan from the heat.
