Stuffed hot chicken sandwich

Ingredients

200 g Chicken breast

1 Onion

1 Garlic clove

1 tbsp Brown sugar

150 g Mushrooms

100 g Bean sprouts

2 Spring Onion Stems

4 Kaiser rolls

Preparation method for Stuffed hot chicken sandwich

  1. Dice the chicken breast. Chop the onion, crush the garlic and slice the mushrooms. Cut the top off the Kaiser bun and scoop out the bun with a spoon. Soy sauce, honey and brown sugar mix in a small bowl.
  2. Heat the peanut oil in a wok and sauté the onion with the garlic and sambal. Add the chicken and cook until soft. Add the mushrooms and soy sauce and simmer for 20 minutes. If the sauce is too thin, thicken with cornstarch.
  3. Stuff the hollowed out bun with the chicken
