Nước Chấm, nuoc cham is a Vietnamese dipping sauce. You can combine this with the vietnamese pancake, spring rolls, summer rolls. Actually anything you want ;
Ingredients
1 large carrot: cut julienne
1 cucumber: julienne sliced
300 g peeled shrimp
50 g (thai) basil
50 g coriander
50 g mint
2 tbsp brown sugar
80 ml lime juice
1 clove of garlic: finely chopped
Preparation method for Rice noodles and prawn salad
- For the nuoc cham, mix the sugar, fish sauce and lime juice in a bowl to dissolve the suker.
- Then stir in the chili pepper and garlic. Set aside.
- Prepare the rice noodles according to package directions, drain well and place in a large bowl.
- Add the carrots, cucumber, chili pepper, shrimp, beans and spices to the bowl with the noodles.
- Add the nuoc cham dressing, mix well and serve.
