Shirataki noodles: authentic Asian noodles Shirataki noodles are made from konjac powder and are particularly popular in Japan and China. Shirataki noodles can be used in soups and stews as well as cold starters with meat and vegetables. City Aroma Shirataki noodles are relatively flavour neutral and therefore combine well with sauces. They contain only 1.5 grams of carbohydrates per 100 grams and are gluten-free. As a result, these noodles fit perfectly into a low-carb diet. This variant consists of thin noodle strands, which can best be compared to vermicelli. The shirataki noodles are packed wet. To use, pour off the water, rinse the noodles well again and heat briefly.
