Ingredients

2 salmon pieces with skin

3 tbsp brown sugar

3 tsp water

handful of cilantro

Preparation method for sweet and spicy bbq salmon

  • Mix the ingredients for the sauce in a large bowl.
  • Add the salmon to the bowl and let marinate for at least 15 minutes, the longer the better.
  • Take a large piece of aluminum foil for each salmon and place the salmon in it, spreading the marinade over the packets.
  • Bake the salmon on the grill at 200 degrees +-10 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon (the core temperature should be 50 degrees).
  • Open the packet so the top is exposed and bake for a further 5 minutes until the top is brown.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds.
