Thai mango sticky rice with coconut caramel sauce

Ingredients

75 g sugar

1/2 tsp. salt

⅓ tsp. salt

Sweet yellow mangoes

Preparation method for Thai mango sticky rice with coconut caramel sauce

  1. Cook the sticky rice according to package directions and replace 400 ml of the liquid with coconut milk. Mix the sugar with the rice and liquid and cook.
  2. While waiting for the rice to cook, prepare the sauce and toppings. Heat a separate pan and pour the 300 ml coconut milk and sugar together. Simmer for 5-7 minutes or until the sauce is reduced by half. Set aside.
  3. Slice the mangoes as desired.
  4. Scoop rice onto a plate and serve with mangoes and coconut caramel sauce.
  5. Garnish with sesame seeds.
