Dagupan Guisado Bagoong is a Filipino herbal paste made from fermented and fried shrimp, vinegar, oil, garlic, and onions. Guisado is among the most popular ingredients of the Filipino cuisine and is often used instead of salt. As far as taste Guisado Bagoong is similar to Thai kapi and Indonesian trassi but has a slightly sweeter flavor. Dagupan Guisado Bagoong Sweet Shrimp Paste Sauteed is suitable as a flavor enhancer for fish dishes, kare kare (oxtail), pinakbet (braised vegetables) or as a dip for chicharron (pig tail).
