Bubble Tea is back and embraced by more and more people. Bubble Tea comes in many shapes and sizes, but one of the most well-known is Brown Sugar Boba. You can get it in your own Bubble Tea Shop, but you can also make it yourself. Not difficult at all and just as tasty!
Ingredients
dark brown sugar
water
ice cubes
Preparation method for Brown Sugar Bubble Tea
- Cook the tapioca balls according to the package instructions. Add a tablespoon of dark bastard sugar to this water - this will give the white balls a dark colour.
- Make the sugar syrup by mixing a few tablespoons of sugar with a little water. You can determine the amount of sugar yourself. The more sugar, the sweeter the syrup.
- When the tapioca balls are done, drop them into the syrup.
- Fill a glass with a layer of tapioca balls in syrup. Swirl the glass slightly so the syrup stays around the edges of the glass. This creates a nice syrup pattern.
- Top up with small ice cubes.
- Now add a small layer of condensed milk if you like.
- Fill the glass with your favorite milk - we chose soy milk.
- Provide a thicker straw so the boba can easily fit through.
Serve tip
We use small tapioca balls - but of course you can also choose the familiar larger variety.
