Ingredients

1 head of Iceberg lettuce

1/2 chili pepper, seeded and chopped

2 cloves of garlic, chopped

250 g Pangasius fillet, diced

1 tbsp Fresh coriander, finely chopped

Preparation method for Stuffed lettuce rolls

  1. Boil the rice in about 200 ml of water with a little salt for about 10 minutes. Then do not drain and cook for another 5 minutes.
  2. Bring a liter of water to a boil in a second pot and carefully remove 8 leaves from the lettuce. Boil the leaves one at a time until soft and drain on a piece of kitchen paper.
  3. Heat the oil in a wok and add the chili pepper and garlic.
  4. Then add the fish cubes and fry until soft.
  5. When the fish is cooked, you can add the rice and season with a little salt.
  6. Now take a lettuce leaf and put 1 or 2 spoons of the rice mixture on it. Roll up the sheet tightly. If necessary, tie it with a piece of string.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce with the fish sauce and cilantro. This is a surprisingly flavorful and easy dipping sauce for your salad rolls!
